Tim Carley, MBA, Registered Forester, Realtor Associate
Hattiesburg, MS
A Mississippi registered forester, Tim Carley earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mississippi College, and Master's Degrees in both Forestry and Business Administration from Mississippi State University. While attending Mississippi State, Tim focused his forestry studies and research into the financial aspects of multiple use forest management. For the better part of a decade, Tim put his school to work in this same area. His understanding of forest, habitat, wildlife, and soil management is rarely found coupled with a practical knowledge of wealth and investment strategy. Tim assists his clients with the acquisition, development, and on-going management of all types of properties across the state. While Tim's academic and professional accomplishments are evident, he believes the greatest successes of his career have been the creation of long-term friendships with clients and peers.
Tim is a native of the Pine Belt area, but works in every region of the state. Tim and his wife, Mary Margaret, live in Lamar County. Whether Tim is working outside in the woods or inside the office, he will tell you that his wife works at least that hard taking care of their four daughters. Carrie McKinley, Meg, Molly Kate, and Annie Grace keep things interesting around the Carley house.
Tim serves on the Student and Youth Leadership Team at Temple Baptist Church. He teaches a 10th grade boys class, volunteers his time with the Recreational Ministry, and serves as a deacon.
While Tim is all business when necessary, he admits that he can quickly shift gears into all fun without much notice. Fun for Tim usually involves the outdoors and one or more of his daughters. Tim understands the balance between work and play, and puts forth great effort into both.
